Indie Film Actress Mercedes Cabral Have Two Current Shows On Gma-7 & Abs-Cbn

MERCEDES CABRAL, who's well known in indie films, will have two on-going shows on GMA-7 and ABS-CBN. On GMA, she plays Marietta, the best friend of Camille Prats and mother of Arkin Magalona who becomes the protector of Mona Louise Rey in “Luna Blanca” that started airing yesterday.

At its presscon, she thought that the soap she did with ABS, “Hiyas”, will forever be shelved. But now, ABS will start showing it starting Monday, May 28, as part of its “Precious Heart Romances” in Kapamilya Gold. This is the launching project of Megan Young, a Starstruck discovery of GMA who moved to ABS.

Mercedes plays a young native maiden who’s the girlfriend of Zanjoe Marudo in the mountains. But Zanjoe meets Megan in the city and it becomes a love triangle story for them.
