Ai Ai De Las Alas And Groom Should Seek Marital Counseling Before Taking The Plunge

AI AI DE LAS Alas won’t have an entry in the Metro-Manila filmfest this year, but she’ll have a wedding. She seems to be serious about marrying current BF Jed Salang this coming December.

Our unsolicited advice to Ai and her groom is for them to first undergo a rigid marriage preparation program. If they can’t do this, they can at least consult an expert marriage counsellor at the Center for Family Ministries (CEFAM) who can help them process the strengths and weakness of their relationship and prepare them for possible sources of friction that, for sure, they’ll inevitably face in the future.

The disparity in their ages will definitely a great factor on whether their marriage would succeed or not, since Ai Ai is in her mid-40s with three grown up kids and the guy is single and only in his late 20s, just a few years older than her eldest son. We don’t want to sound like a killjoy.

The relationship might be so intense and seem so rosy now, but better ask the advice of those who’ve been there done that, like Dr. Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, Alma Moreno and Gerald Madrid, even Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.
