THE CAST MEMBERS of “Lorenzo’s Time” were given roses during its presscon and then they were asked to whom they’ll offer their roses. Alfred Vargas, who plays Zaijan Jaranilla’s childhood friend in the story who becomes a doctor, says he’ll offer it to his wife Jasmine and their two baby daughters. He feels somewhat guilty that he can’t spend more time with them since he’s busy with his job as councilor at the second district of Quezon City and also as an actor.
Aside from “Lorenzo’s Time”, he’s now also shooting a historical movie, “Ang Supremo”, where he plays the role of The Great Plebeian, Andres Bonifacio. This is the second time he’s playing the role as he also did it in “Ang Paglilitis kay Andres Bonifacio”, the last movie directed by Mario O’Hara who’s now confined in a hospital undergoing therapy for leukemia.
