ARA MINA doesn’t seem to be impressed by her sister
Cristine Reyes’ apology in “The Buzz”. Ara herself demanded a public apology and sued Cristine for maligning her in text and twitter messages. The court case obviously jolted Cristine so she had no choice but to apologize to her Ate Ara. She declared: “I’m sorry and I would like to apologize if ever I offended you at sumama ang loob mo sa akin. I tried my best na pumunta sa iyo, alam mo iyan, ate. Sinabi ko pa iyan sa ’yo na kung gusto mo, luluhod ako sa harapan mo. Sana lumambot na ang puso mo sa akin para maayos na itong gulo, para sa ikakatahimik ng pamilya natin.”
Ara replied on Twitter: "A stiff apology is a second insult. The injured party does not want to be compensated bec. he has been wronged; he wants to be healed bec. he has been hurt. -- G.K. Chesterton”.
Ara said friends told her they cannot feel Cristine’s sincerity. It doesn’t come from the heart as she’s reading it from a “kodigo”, not spontaneous. Obviously, she apologized only as she wants Ara to drop the case against her. Let’s see if Ara’s heart would melt and she’d finally forgive her erring sister.
