Jean Garcia's Daughter Jennica Hoping Her Mom Would Soon Meet Her Own Mr. Right

JEAN GARCIA laughed when we told her at the presscon of “One True Love”, which starts airing tonight on GMA Telebabad, that her daughter Jennica is praying she’d meet her Mr. Right soon. “Worried siguro siya kasi siya may lovelife, ako wala,” she says.

As in totally zero? “I go out on date naman. Non-showbiz. Kaya tahimik. Kapag showbiz din kasi, tsismis na agad. But bihirang-bihira ako lumabas kasi wala ring time. Laging may work. Nagpapasalamat nga akong sunod-sunod ang trabaho ko sa GMA-7. Right after ‘Alakdana’, I did ‘Time of My Life’, then ‘Alice Bungisngis’, na bago pa natapos, sinimulan ko naman itong ‘One True Love’. Tapos, nagho-host pa ako ng ‘Personalan’ sa GMA News Channel 11. O, very productive, di ba? Natutuwa rin ako kasi sa ‘Alice’, with akong ubod ng sama. Dito naman sa ‘One True Love’, mabait ako, akong inapi ni Agot Isidro. Ninakaw yung anak namin ni Raymond Bagatsing at pinabilanggo ako. Yung anak ko, who’ll be Alden Richards, napadpad sa piyer at inampon ni Caridad Sanchez. Ang pinalabas ni Agot na anak nila ni Raymond, si Louise de los Reyes. Later, aapihin ni Raymond si Alden without knowing itong tunay niyang anak.”

She won as best actress in the Golden Screen Awards as the teacher in “Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa”. But in the Urian Awards, she’s nominated just as best supporting actress. What can she say about this? “I’m still thankful, it’s still an honor. Iba-iba naman ang taste ng award-giving bodies. Sa’kin, ma-nominate lang ako, honor pa rin you. Thank you.”
