Jennylyn Mercado And Lovi Poe's 'The Bride And The Lover' Is Hayden Kho's First Movie

JENNYLYN MERCADO is in two new GMA-7 shows, the afternoon soap “Hindi Ka Na Mag-iisa” with Sid Lucero and as co-host of “Protege: The Big Artista Break”. She’s still co-host of “Showbiz Central” and also appears in “Party Pilipinas”. Now, she shoots a new sexy drama for Regal, “The Bride and the Lover”, directed by Joel Lamangan, with Lovi Poe, Paulo Avelino, Mikael Daez, plus Carla Mae Dureneaneau (girlfriend of Christian Bautista) and Hayden Kho (ex of Dr. Belo) in their first film roles. “In the story, I’m the rich publisher of a glossy lifestyle magazine,” Jen says. “Best friends kami ni Lovi from high school. She also comes from a rich family involved in real estate. The title refers to both of us. At first, siya yung bride and I’m the lover of Paulo Avelino. Then na-reverse yun during the story. I become the bride at siya naman yung lover. We’ll both have sexy love scenes with Paulo.”

The feedback when her BF Luis Manzano guested in “Showbiz Central” is so positive, making the show rate so high. Did she ask permission from Luis before consenting to do love scenes with Paulo? “There’s no need. Alam naman niyang part ng trabaho namin ito. And we trust each other.”
