At the “Daddy Dearest” presscon, Jolina Magdangal said she didn’t mind if she’s just second choice to Roxanne Guinoo who already taped for two days but had to be replaced since she turned out to be preggy with her second baby.
“Natuwa nga ako when they informed me akong papalit,” says Jolina. “Excited ako to be paired with Kuya Ogie Alcasid dahil dati, co-hosts lang kami sa ‘Party Pilipinas’, but here, husband and wife na kami. At ang ganda ng role ko as twin sisters Rose na mahinhin and Camille na mataray, masungit. Reunion din namin ito ng child star na si Milkah Nacion na kasama ko noon sa ‘Iglot’. Nauna pa nga akong magbuntis dito kaysa in real life,” she laughs.
She and Mark are not in a hurry to have a baby. “We’re still adjusting with each other and enjoying our time together. We now live with his parents sa bahay nila sa Paranaque so we’re looking for our own house sa Quezon City para mas malapit sa GMA. Gusto ko yung may garden and backyard.”
She alternates with Jean Garcia as host of “Personalan” on GMA News TV Channel 11. “Di biro ang pagod at stress ko roon kasi di ko maiwasang di maki-relate sa issues ng guests namin in each show. Nadadala ko talaga pag-uwi sa bahay namin lalo pag tungkol sa family problems, friendship and teenage problems.”
