Lorna Tolentino Won't Join Politics And Has No Plans Of Marrying Again

WOULD LORNA Tolentino dare run for public office like her ex-rival Alma Moreno who’s gunning for the senate? “May offers pero, naku, huwag na,” she says on the set of “Valiente”. “Mas okay akong naka-focus sa acting na lang. Mas simple ang buhay ko .”

She felt bad when her late hubby Rudy Fernandez ran for office and didn’t make it. “I saw his frustration at ayokong pagdaanan yun. Mas fulfilled akong acting before the camera. I still get naman very challenging roles, like dito sa ‘Valiente’. After this, nasa ‘Third Eye’ naman ako, still with TV5. Kung walang work, I’d rather stay on our farm, Vera Grace, sa Batangas.”

This is why she’s perfectly at home at the Leviste farm where “Valiente” is being taped as her own farm can also be used for tapings.

How about falling in love again? “Ayoko na. Mabuti kung magiging kasing-okay gaya ni Rudy. Sa ngayon, I think I’ll just take care of myself, with the help of our two sons.”
