BIANCA GONZALEZ is unlike other celebs who are secretive with their lovelife. We asked her about her current BF, cager JC Intal, and she willingly talked about him. “Over one year na kami,” she says. “He’s not playing now as he injured his knee and will still have to undergo rehab for one month.”
Some writers say JC’s relationship with Carla Abellana wouldn’t have turned sour if she didn’t join showbiz. “Siguro nga. Kasi five years daw sila. When JC and I met, matagal na silang wala.”
What does she find endearing in him? “Sobrang maalaga, thoughtful. Iniisip ko pa lang, binibigay na niya.”
What’s JC’s and her family’s reaction when she posed sexy in Esquire? “Kay JC, okay lang, but my mom was shocked, although I didn’t really show anything naman. Then she realized that I’m of age na naman to do it.”
Would she be ready to pose for FHM now? “No offense sa FHM or other men’s magazines, pero hindi naman seductive ang pose ko. I was even smiling. Also, iba kasi ang calibre ng Esquire. After that, ayoko na. Tama na yung one time big time.”
She just won two awards for hosting: the Yahoo OMG favorite female TV host and the Globe Tatt ‘The One’ Award. Will she also go into acting? “I’m sorry, pero hindi ko po talent yan. After I did PBB with Zanjoe Marudo, I got some offers but it’s not really my forte. Instead, I got into writing. I now write a column for the Philippine Star.”
Who among the celebrities she has interviewed does she find interesting? “I really enjoyed my interview with Tito Eddie Gutierrez and Tita Annabelle Rama for Valentine. Nakakatuwa sila. Later, I got a note from Tito Eddie saying ‘I thoroughly enjoyed the interview with you even if it’s Annabelle who did most of the talking.’”
Amalia Fuentes sued her because of Eddie and Annabelle. Have they talked? “No. I already issued an apology but may case pa rin. It’s the lawyers naman of Philippine Star handling it. At first, I was scared but it became interesting for me as I report about libel cases. Now, I’ll have a first hand experience about the process.”
After hosting PBB Teens, Bianca is seen in “Umagang Kay Ganda” and Cinema One’s “Cinema News”. She’s managed by Backroom and for inquiries, call 423-1108, 435-1120.
