Is Alex Gonzaga Leaving Hosting To Focus On Acting In 'Enchanted Garden'?

WHAT CAN Alex Gonzaga say about Martin Escudero saying she’ll wake up his “natutulog na feelings” for her now that they’re paired anew in “Enchanted Garden”? “Naku, hindi naman siya nanliligaw sa akin,” she says. “Buddy-buddy lang talaga kami. But I really enjoyed working with him before and I’m glad magkasama kami uli ngayon kasi masaya siyang katrabaho.”

Alex just returned from a 3-week vacation in the U.S. “I watched the Pacquiao fight and friends were kidding me na ako ang jinx kaya siya natalo. Sabi ko, okay lang kasi kay Bradley ako pumusta. Joke! After the fight, namasyal ako sa New York then had bonding with my cousins in the U.S.”

In “Babaeng Hampaslupa”, she was also Alice Dixson’s daughter who’s stolen and grew up far away from her mom. This is the same situation in “Enchanted Garden”. “Oo nga, e. But in ‘Babae’, we had many scenes together later. Dito sa ‘Enchanted’, hindi yata mangyayari yun. Mas dito ako sa mortal world.”

We thought she's doing a movie with Viva? "I thought so too. I have a contract with them. Sabi may movie, pero hindi naman natuloy. My contract with them will expire next year pero wala pa kong project."

Is it true she’ll be taken out of ‘Juicy’ so she can concentrate on acting? “I don’t know. Walang official abiso sa’kin. As of now, nagte-taping pa rin ako for ‘Juicy’ so I don’t know if it’s true. If it’s true, I’ll feel sad as four years na ko roon and I’ll miss yung mga kasama ko roon.”
