Jennylyn Mercado's Career Prospered, Leaving Former Partner Mark Herras Behind

JENNYLYN MERCADO has really left behind former partner Mark Herras, who’s currently idle while Jen is in four shows and seen twice daily on TV. She’s in the hit soap “Hindi Ka Na Mag-iisa” right after “Eat Bulaga”. She starts hosting “Inside Protégé” tonight, a 15-minute daily airs weeknights from 10:15-10:30pm on the Telebabad block, Mondays to Thursdays after One True Love and every Friday after Lie To Me. Jennylyn will give behind the scenes footage of the journey and struggles in the life of each artista wannabe. It will also feature the highlights and drama of the nationwide auditions in 15 cities all over the country.

On Sundays, Jen is also seen in “Party Pilipinas” and the new showbiz talk show, “HOT TV”. We hope her health won’t suffer because of too much work. She used to be sickly but her daily workouts in the gym helped improved her resistance and stamina.

In “Hindi Ka Na Mag-iisa”, Jen as Elisa has an emotional reunion with her mom, Maita (Glydel Mercado), in the school for special children where Maita’s younger daughter, Angelica (Krystal Reyes), is enrolled. But Maita doesn’t recognize her and is even hostile to her. Maita changes her attitude when Elisa saves the mentally challenged Angelica in an accident. She then asks Elisa to be her own sister’s personal yaya.

Today, see the show’s other stars in person: Sid Lucero, Angelu de Leon, Krystal Reyes, Carl Guevarra, Saab Magalona, and Frank Magalona, together with Kapuso singer Rachelle Ann Go. They’ll join the Kapuso float in the Sublian Festival parade in Batangas.
