Judy Ann Santos Didn't Expect 'Mga Mumunting Lihim' To Be As Good As It Turned Out To Be

JUDY ANN SANTOS attended the “Mga Mumunting Lihim” preview with husband Ryan Agoncillo. She also wants to correct the impression that “Mga Mumunting Lihim” is her first indie movie. “The movie I produced at naging entry natin sa Oscars, ‘Ploning’, is actually an indie film kasi it wasn’t backed up by any big film company at all,” she says. “May nagawa pa kong isa, ‘Miss Pinoy’ about OFWs noong 2005, na ewan ko kung naipalabas. I also did ‘Umuulan, Umaaraw’ with Ryan (Agoncillo), produced by Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista about three years ago.”

She’s very proud of “Mga Mumunting Lihim”. “I’m so glad to be a part of it. Napaiyak ako habang nanonood kasi hindi ko akalaing lalabas na ganun kaganda ang movie about friendship. I’m so happy nakasama ko sina Iza Calzado, Agot Isidro and Janice de Belen. Ang gaganda ng mga eksena namin, pinaghalong comedy and drama.”

After this, she goes back to mainstream movies with “Si Agimat, Si Enteng at Si Me”, the Metro filmfest entry where she’s the lone leading lady of Sen. Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto. “Siempre, nakakanerbiyos. I’m with two giant stars. Tapos, dapat daw, kami’ng topgrosser. Sino ba naman ang hindi mape-pressure niyan? Kasi sila, nagna-number one talaga. So pag hindi nag-number one ngayon, kasalanan ko? Kaya I really should do my best for this movie at ayokong mapahiya, no?”

On TV, she'll soon start taping the new soap "Against All Odds" with Sam Milby and KC Concepcion, and the reality show "Master Chef".
