“I heard about that, but the truth is I don’t know her,” he says. “Kakaunti lang ang nakarelasyon ko at hindi ko siya natatandaan at all. Pero nakakatuwa na akong tinuturo niya. Bahala na ang mga tao kung gusto nilang maniwala, but I’m not bothered kasi wala talaga akong nakaka-affair na dating lalaki. After Jennica Garcia, zero na ang lovelife ko by choice so I can focus on my work.”
He’s happy with his role in “Enchanted Garden”. “This is the opposite of my roles in TV5’s ‘Babaeng Hampaslupa’ and ‘Glamorosa’ na rich ako, edukado, well dressed. Dito, pedicab driver ako na marungis, sira-sira ang suot, but I’ll do anything to protect Alex Gonzaga. Excited ako to work with her again after ‘Babaeng Hampaslupa’. Mabubuhay uli ang feelings ko for her na nakatulog.”
He won a best actor award for ‘Zombadings’. Is it true it’ll have a sequel? “We’re not sure. But it has had successful screenings in Dubai and the U.S. Sa ngayon, I’m doing another indie film, ‘Musiko’, with Melai Cantiveros, about Bacoor where good musicians hail. I’ll also be in ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll 14’ for the December filmfest.”
