“Maganda yung role ko as Perry Escano,” he says. “Member ako ng sindikato pero mabait ako and I’ll be Maxene’s protector. Marc would cheat on her and eventually, magiging kaming dalawa.”
His career is really on a roll now after he figure in a love triangle with Carla Abellana and Michelle Madrigal in “Kung Aagawin Mo ang Langit”, which was followed by his bida-kontrabida role in “Legacy” as a scheming executive with selfish designs on Lovi Poe. He waited for five long years before his career took after winning in Startstruck 2.
“Sabi nga nila, patience is a virtue and I was loyal naman to GMA all those year. I just continued to hone my talent by attending workshops and doing theatre that helped me a lot.”
He’s now also more open to being sexy. Last year, he joined the Cosmo Bash wearing black trunks. Yesterday, he had another sexy pictorial for them. “I’m willing to go sexy naman, pero may limitations pa rin. Basta walang frontal.”
Proof that he’s now very popular is he’s mobbed when he makes personal appearances, just like in Tacloban’s Sangyaw parade and in Vigan for GMA’s regional promo tour. All the directors he has worked with like Dominic Zapata in “Capt. Barbell”, Andoy Ranay in “Legacy” and now Mike Tuviera in “Faithfully” believe he has great potential as an actor and leading man.
