WHAT HAPPENED to the shooting of the Ilocano epic “Lam-ang” starring
Rocco Nacino that’s supposed to resume on June 28? “Hindi natuloy,” says line producer Dennis Evangelista, who’s also the supervising producer of “Lihis” and “Migrante”. “But it’s not because walang budget ang producer kundi gusto ni Direk Ana Agabin, mag-workout pa si Rocco as Lam-ang. We saw the rushes kasi noong fight scene nila ni Rochelle Pangilinan at nakukulangan siya kay Rocco. Hindi raw masyadong buff ang katawan at kulang rin sa training sa fight scenes, so she instructed him to work out and train some more. Sa August na kami magsu-shoot uli. Naiinis nga ako kasi start na rin ng shoot noon ng ‘Lihis’ at ng isa pang movie namin ni Direk Joel Lamangan, ‘yung ‘Menor de Edad’. Akong mahihirapan kapag nagkasabay-sabay sila.”
