Carl Guevarra Willing To Wait Until Kris Bernal Is Ready To Accept Him

CARL GUEVARRA is enjoying his role as the special education teacher of the mentally challenged Crystal Reyes in “Hindi Ka Na Mag-iisa”. “I took some training with real teachers and it’s an eye-opening experience for me to be able to understand more ang mga batang kulang ang kaisipan,” he says. “I wish the show would help viewers para mas lumawak ang pang-unawa nila sa mga batang may ganitong kalagayan.”

Off cam, he continues to woo Kris Bernal and is not tired of waiting. “I’m willing to wait until such time that Kris is ready to accept me. I just continue to show her how important she is to me. When I do regional shows, lagi akong may pasalubong sa kanya. One time, from Cebu, dinalhan ko siya ng famous Cebu lechon dahil alam kong favorite niya yun.”

Doesn’t he feel jealous that Kris will be paired anew with Aljur Abrenica? “Trabaho lang naman yun, so bakit ako magseselos. I’ve worked with them together in ‘The Last Prince’ and I know friends lang sila, so I don’t feel threatened at all.”
