“Iyakan ang naalis na protégés and their mentors,” she said. “Nakakalungkot talaga at bumaha ng luha kasi lima silang sabay-sabay na natanggal and it was their mentors who chose kung sino ang mapapauwi. But after this, isa-isa na lang yata ang maaalis every week.”
How’s her primetime soap “Makapiling Kang Muli” doing? “We’re having our last taping day this week, but the show will be aired until mid-September pa. Everyone is happy kasi we have a very successful 13-week run. We all had fun doing it with Director Ricky Davao. Enjoy ako sa role ko kasi first time ko to play a laywer.”
So who gets Richard Gutierrez in the end: she or Sarah Lahbati? “Alam ko na, but I won’t say and spoil it for the viewers. Abangan na lang nila.”
So what’s next for her? “I’ll still do ‘Protege’ then I’ll be doing a movie with Regal. We’re meeting nina Mother Lily and Roselle Monteverde about this.”
