Julia Montes Prefers Enchong Dee Over Enrique Gil

JULIA MONTES is paired with Enrique Gil and Enchong Dee with Cristine Reyes and Jessy Mendiola in “The Reunion”. But at its presscon, it’s Julia and Enchong who became hot topic for the press. When the cast was asked who they could possibly fall in love with among their co-stars, Julia admitted she’s partial to Enchong and the latter said he’ll court Julia when she’s 18, which is 7 months from now.

“I promised kasi her lola that I’ll wait, but I’ve introduced her to my mom and my mom likes her,” says Enchong, who’s now 23.

Wasn’t he linked also to Erich Gonzales? “Naging magka-love team lang kami in various shows, but magkatrabaho lang talaga kami.”

Is he sure that Julia will accept him in 7 months? “Siempre, hindi. It still depends on her.”

And why did Julia choose Enchong? “When we were doing ‘Shoutout’, he’s the one I’m closest to among the boys.”

How come there was a rumor they broke up? “Hindi pa nga kami nagsisimula, break na. Di lang kami nagkikita as I got busy with ‘Walang Hanggan’. Pero nagkasama kami uli while shooting this movie, even if hindi kami ang magkapareha rito.”
