JULIA MONTES is glad to be part of the Metro filmfest movie “The Strangers”, now shooting full blast as produced by Atty. Joji Alonso’s Quantum Films.
“First filmfest entry ko po ito kaya excited ako,” she says. “Magkapatid kami rito ni Enrique Gil at parents namin sina Cherry Pie Picache and Johnny Revilla. May big big secret po ang family namin na sa ending lang mare-reveal at ikaka-shock ng viewers, directed by Lawrence Fajardo.”
Although she’s also paired with Enrique in “The Reunion”, Julia is said to be now lovey-dovey with Enchong Dee, but she quickly denies this. “At 17, hindi pa ako talaga ready for a serious relationship. I don’t want my attention to be diverted from my career at this point kasi nga I’m so busy with work. Dito muna focus ko ngayon.”
But even her lola says she’s allowed to entertain suitors when she turns 18 in March. What are the qualities she’d want her first BF to have? “First, God-fearing, then family-oriented, yung he’ll love and accept me for what I am and won’t try to change me.”
