MARTIN DEL ROSARIO is one of the young actors ABS-CBN is building up to be a leading man. After making him play Gov. Vilma Santos’ son in the hit horror thriller “The Healing”, he now plays an even more challenging role in another scary movie that opens on August 29, “Amorosa”, as the blind son of Angel Aquino. Last year, he won as best new movie actor for the indie horror flick, “Dagim”.
I had a great time with Ms. Angel kasi kahit mom ko role niya rito, bagets na bagets ang sensibility niya, parang magka-age lang kami so very comfortable ako with her. For my bulag role, they had to train me before I faced the camera. Mahirap siya but Director Topel Lee said I did it quite well.”
