Two Students Kicked Out From 'Artista Academy': Jon Orlando And Julia Quisumbing

JONATHAN ORLANDO is the second student kicked out of “Artista Academy” after Chris Leonardo. The 19-year old Fil-Italian balikbayan from Canada got the lowest score. But another student was also kicked out, Julia Quisumbing, due to numerous absences. So there are now only 13 students remaining.

Jon Orlando landed at the Bottom 5 in Saturday’s live exams, along with Brent Manzano, Nicole Estrada, Julia Quisumbing and Marvelous Alejo. After their grades from Asian Academy of Television Arts and text votes from viewers were evaluated, Jon got the lowest points so he had to go.

The remaining students are Aki Blanco, Alberto Bruno, Benjo Leoncio, Brent Manzano, Chanel Morales, Malak So Shdiftat, Mark Neumann, Marvelous Alejo, Nicole Estrada, Shaira Mae, Sophie Albert, Stephanie Rowe and Vin Abrenica. But even if Chris, Jon and Julia are now out of the competition, they can still join the group when TV5 big boss Manny Pangilinan treat them to an all-expenses paid trip to Hongkong next week. “Artista Academy” hosted by Marvin Agustin airs week nights at 9 PM, with live exams hosted by Cesar Montano on Saturday at 8:30 PM.
