The remaining 10 were Benjo Leoncio, Mark Neumann, Malak So Shdifat, Shaira Mae, Chris Leonardo, Jon Orlando, Brent Manzano, Marvelous Alejo, Nicole Estrada and Stephanie Rowe. Two more students have dropped out for good. TV5 PR Lhot Jhiz de Ortega said Alberto Bruno has returned to Italy and Julia Quisumbing left for health reasons.
The remaining ten did song and dance numbers and also acted out some scenes showing fear, anger, sadness. In the end, Principal Wilma Galvante announced that the two who made it are Mark Neumann and Shaira Mae.
Shaira told us she didn’t expect to make it. “But I did my best and gave me all,” she says. “Especially sa dance number they gave na pinaghalong ballroom and hiphop. It’s good the judges all liked it. I’m so thankful I made it to the final 6.”
Born on May 3, 1995 and the second and only girl of 3 kids, she’s taking up marketing management at San Beda Alabang but is now on leave due to “Artista Academy”. The show will have its finals on the last week of October. “I promise na mas paghusayan ko as I face very tough competition in Chanel and Sophie. I know I have an edge pagdating sa acting but dehado ako when it comes to singing so I should practice some more.”
