    BOSSA NOVA QUEEN Sitti first forayed into acting in “Spring Awakening” in 2009. “I want to grow as an artist so I tried theatre acting and I enjoyed the experience so much I’d recommend it to other singers,” she says.

    She now plays a sexy role as the Lady of the Spa in the Tony Award-winning musical, “Nine”. “I get to sing ‘Every Girl in Venice’, a song of seduction wearing a seductive outfit. Then I have a kissing scene with Jett Pangan as the guy all the girls in the play love. Ang dami kong fears and inhibitions as I’m not used to do such things, but with the help of Director Bobby Garcia, I think nagawa ko naman ng maayos. I enjoyed working with the ensemble. Puro magagaling ang kasama ko, like Eula Valdes, Cherie Gil, Menchu Yulo, Carla Guevara, Ima Castro, everyone.
