Directing “Kidlat” is Mike Tuviera, who left GMA-7 to move to TV5. His last show with GMA is the afternoon show “Faithfully” that ends next week. The story conference will be held today to introduce the full cast and crew. They’ll start taping in October and will start airing in mid-November to replace “Enchanted Garden”.
Nadine Samonte feels lucky she’s chosen to be Derek’s leading lady in “Kidlat” and the taping will start after her stint in the Dulaang UP stage play, “The Seagull/Ang Tagak”. She will also be joining “Enchanted Garden” in a guest role soon.
Going back to Derek, he’s now also shooting “A Secret Affair” for Viva with Anne Curtis and Andi Eigenmann. Has he forgotten ex-GF Angelica Panganiban especially now that she’s obviously happy with John Lloyd Cruz? “Hindi mo naman basta makakalimutan yun. We had six good years together. But I’ve moved on. I’m busy with my work. I’m happy, she’s happy, we’re all happy. We can all be friends naman. No bad blood between us.”
