Derrick Monasterio Has Permanently Replaced Joshua Dionisio As Barbie Forteza's Ka-Love Team

DERRICK MONASTERIO seems to have permanently replaced Joshua Dionisio as Barbie Forteza’s ka-love team. After they got paired in “Luna Blanca, Book 2”, he and Barbie are together again in the new series, “Mariposa”. Joining them in the cast is former child actor Miguel Tanfelix who’s now 15 and is a 6 footer. Derrick is 5’11”, so that means Miguel is even taller than him and they’ll both dwarf Barbie. Theirs will be the new teen triangle to watch out for.

Derrick will also be part of the cast of the new edition of “TGIS”, the hit Viva teen show in the mid-90s that stands for “Thank God It’s Sabado”, which introduced then teen stars Angelu de Leon, Bobby Andrews, Dingdong Dantes, Red Sternberg, Raven Villanueva, Mike Flores, etc. The new “TGIS” will be helmed by Mark Reyes, who also directed it then.

Meantime, Bea Binene is reunited with Jake Vargas in a new morning drama series while Kristofer Martin will be part of the new primetime soap, “Haram”, starring Dingdong Dantes and Kylie Padilla as Muslims, directed by Maryo de los Reyes.
