“She did a lot for our family kasi nga siya ang huling kasama ni Dad for more than 20 years na,” he adds. “Kaya we postponed the concert na dapat sana was noong Aug. 30 kasi she was in the U.S. then for her operation. We were so happy when her tumor turned out be benign. I called her and told her we’ll wait for her return so she can be present at the concert. Kahit hindi siya mag-perform, manood lang siya.”
This is a rare event where all the three top networks will send their respective talents to participate. The opening number will see Kapamilya Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano, Kapuso Ogie Alcasid and Janno Gibbs and Kapatid Sharon Cuneta performing together. The show will be held at SM MOA Arena on Wednesday, September 19m 7 PM, with P150 only as minimum donation for tickets. The whole show will later be presented as a TV special on all networks on September 30, 10:30 PM to 1 AM.
