Has Eula Valdes Dropped Model Boyfriend For A Much Younger Man?

EULA VALDES is sexier now in her 40s than when she was a teenybopper in “Bagets” in the mid-80s. “Nagmumura ang cleavage,” says one writer who was with us at the presscon of “Nine”, the Broadway musical where Eula plays one of the leads along with Cherie Gil and other stars. Is it true she has a new younger lover?

“No, kami pa rin ni Rocky (Salumbides),” she says. “May nakakita kasi sa’kin with my son, Miguel, who’s now 17 and almost 6 feet tall. He’s a second year film student sa St. Benilde. Sweet kasi yung batang yun. Sa labas, holding hands kami. Kung mag-kiss sa’kin sa lips pa. Kaya ayun, napagkamalang boyfriend ko. Niyaya na nga siya ni Rocky na mag-go see to try modelling.”

What’s her role in “Nine”? “I play Claudia Nardi, the actress who’s the muse of Director Guido Contini, played by Jett Pangan. In the film version, she was played by Nicole Kidman. I get to sing one of the best solos in the show, ‘Unusual Way’. This is my third musical after ‘Zsa Zsa Zaturnaaah’ and ‘Flores Para Los Muertos’ with Floy Quintos.”
