WE ALSO feel bad that some Vilmanians are making fun of Nora Aunor losing as best actress in the Venice Filmfest for her movie "Thy Womb". We know they love Gov. Vi very much, but it’s in sheer bad taste to put other people down just to fanatically support her. This is not a bad reflection on Nora but on they themselves and the kind of persons that they are.
We’re sure Gov. Vi herself, being so sensible and reasonable, won’t approve of this demeaning behavior in her supporters as she now has a very mature view of her rivalry with Ate Guy. If Nora won, we should all be proud because she is representing our country. Such an accomplishment should go beyond shallow and annoying rivalries.
