Lj Reyes Shuns A Double And Does Her Own Dangerous Stunts In 'Tiktik: Aswang Chronicles'

AFTER GETTING rave reviews as the lowly “pokpok” in “Intoy Syokoy”, LJ Reyes plays another challenging role in “Tiktik: Aswang Chronicles” as an aswang. Director Erik Matti praised her for being so brave in doing her action scenes without any double. We saw her scenes while in harness jumping from rooftops and flying in the air.

“Bilib nga ako,” says Direk Erik. “Ang tapang niya. Kaya raw niya ang dangerous stunts at ginawa nga niya.”

“Ginawa ko lang ang nararapat for my role,” says LJ. “As an aswang, I have skills in speed, parang kidlat kumilos. Inspired ako working with Dingdong, Lovi and Direk Erik Matti kasi lahat sila sobrang devotion sa movie. It’s always an honor and pleasure to work with dedicated people. You learn a lot from them, from craft to professionalism to interaction with other people on the set. It humbles me.”

LJ’s career is on a roll as she also stars in “Aso ng San Roque” that starts airing tonight after “Luna Blanca” as the mom of Mona Louis Rey.
