MARK HERRAS admits he has neglected his career and he promises to be more focused now that GMA-7 has assigned him a new show on primetime, “Luna Blanca, Book 3”, where he plays the man over whom sisters Heart Evangelista and Bianca King become rivals. What can he say that his former partner, Jennylyn King, has a more successful career and has left him behind?
“I’m happy for her as she’s into acting, hosting and singing,” he says. “I’m just thankful may trabaho pa rin ako and I promise talagang pagbubutihin ko this time.”
He’s aware younger talents like Aljur Abrenica, Alden Richards and even tween actors are more in the limelight now. “As for me, I think I’m ready to accept more serious and mature roles. Graduate na ko sa teeny bopper roles kaya nga sina Heart at Bianca na ang kapareha ko ngayon.”
Some writers say his relationship with Ynna Asistio is not helpful to his career but he doesn’t believe it. “Four years and five months na kami kaya mas matatag na ang relasyon namin. Bayaan nyo na lang kami.”
