Ncaa Games On Sports5 Aktv Now A Toprater

SPORTS5, the sports arm of TV5, has another ratings winner in its line-up of sports programs: the NCAA. Nielsen Media ratings data show it’s attracting an average of 120,000 viewers in Mega Manila against the 70,000 average of the UAAP. The NUTAM data also show high numbers for the NCAA games where they average close to 200,000 viewers in its primetime slot of 4 to 8pm. Its biggest number of viewers watched the close battle San Beda and Perpetual where it averaged 374,296 viewers. NCAA is now airing its games every Monday, Thursday and Saturday on AKTV on IBC13 with the first game starting at 4pm and the second game beginning at 6pm. Aside from the NCAA, Sports5 also airs the PXC (Pacific X-Treme Combat), the UFL (United Football League, and the PBA (Philippine Basketball Association).
