We last interviewed Paolo at the “Aso ni San Roque” presscon two weeks ago, where he plays a “kapre”. He even said they might have a church wedding next year, so we’re really surprised by the formal announcement of their breakup on Sept. 11, Tuesday. They seemed to have timed it with the 11th anniversary of the World Trade Center bombing. Lian herself said there’s no third party involved. They just had irreconcilable differences. It was Paulo who initiated the breakup and she just welcomed his decision.
