Ruffa Gutierrez Is With Tv5'S 'Enchanted Garden' But Does Filmfest Movie With Gma-7

RUFFA GUTIERREZ is thankful that although she’s a regular on TV5’s “Enchanted Garden” as Queen Valerianna, she’s allowed to do projects with other networks. She’ll be playing an important role in GMA Films Metro-Manila Filmfest entry, “Sossi Problems”. This was originally titled “Conyo Problems” (from Conyo kids), but the MTRCB didn’t approve the title as it means something obscene in Spanish, so it’s been changed to “Sossi Problems” since it’s about “sosyal” girls having love problems with the same guy.

Ruffa will be playing the top executive of a big network, a role she has played before in the TV5 soap “Nagbabagang Bulaklak”.

The final casting of the four “sossy” girls include Heart Evangelista, Bianca King, Solenn Heussaff and Rhian Ramos. “So ayan, bigla akong nagkaroon ng pelikulang kasali sa December filmfest,” Ruffa beams.

She continues to enjoy playing the evil queen in “Enchanted Garden” who steals the youth and energy of young women in their kingdom so she’ll stay young forever. She’s determined to look for her missing sisters, Alice Dixson as Alvera and Rufa Mae Quinto as Quassia, while crushing the rebels in her kingdom led by Ahron Villena as Kamagong. In the mortal world, Beverly Salviejo as Garita uses black magic to try to kill BB Gandanghari as Michiko. Her shadow stabs BB and Alex Gonzaga as Aya is accused of doing the crime.
