SUNSHINE CRUZ played dutiful wife to hubby Cesar Montano at the first presscon of “Biktima” held at their Italian resto, Bellissimo, which is now in Scout Rallos St. She personally helped in preparing the pizza and pasta offered to the guests when she could have sat with the other stars at the presidential table during the Q&A as she’s also part of the cast.
“Special participation lang naman ako doon,” she says. “I play the boss of Angel Aquino in a TV network who assigned her to go to a dangerous assignment. It was while covering that assignment that she got ambushed and went missing. Napakiusapan lang ako ng writer-director ng ‘Biktima’, si RD Alba, who’s a family friend.”
Doesn’t she miss acting? “I do. May gagawin nga akong TV show soon. Pero siempre, ang family pa rin namin ang number one priority ko, lalo ngayon lumalaki na ang mga bata. 12 years na kami ni Cesar as husband and wife and over all, I’d say maligaya talaga ang pagsasama namin.”
“Biktima” opens today in theatres nationwide, released by Star Cinema.
