Tv5 & Radyo Singko Proud Of Their Many Nominations In Catholic Mass Media Awards

TV5 AND RADYO Singko are happy that many of their shows are finalists in the upcoming 34th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA). “We’re very proud that the CMMA acknowledged our efforts in providing quality television content. As a network, we remain steadfast in our commitment to promote the best of Filipino values and culture through our diverse program line-up,” said TV5 president and CEO Ray Espinosa.

The TV5 shows nominated in this year’s awards are: Extreme Makeover Home Edition Philippines and Alagang Kapatid for Best Public Service Program, Pidol’s Wonderland for Best Children and Youth Program, Pinoy Explorer and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? for Best Adult Educational or Cultural Program, Talentadong Pinoy for Best Entertainment Program, and Under Special Investigation (USI) for Best Special Event Coverage and News Magazine. Contenders under Best TV special include TV5’s Bayani, Huling Patak and Ang Katapusan, while De Kalibre bagged a nomination under the Best Talk Show Program category.

For Radyo Singko 92.3 NewsFM, the following programs received CMMA nominations: Oplan Asenso and Chink Positive for Best Business News/Feature Program and Magbago Tayo for Best Educational Program.

Winners of the 34th CMMA will be announced on September 25, Tuesday, at the Star Theatre in Star City, CCP Complex in Pasay City.
