“Siempre, may pressure,” says Bea. “But we trust the people we’re working with. They’ve come up with a good story that we’ll surely hook the viewers from day one. Also, we’re banking on the support of the fans of our love team na noon pa sinasabi sa’ming nami-miss na nila kami sa TV.”
“Cielo de Angelina” is now the pre-program for the number one daytime show, “Eat Bulaga”. It’s about family, friendship and love. Bea plays Angelina, the poor girl oppressed by her stepmom Czarina (Isabel Granada) and stepsister Rhoda (Yassi Pressman.) Jake is Marco, her love interest. Jillian Ward plays the young Angelina while Gloria Romero is the nun who takes care of her.
Of course, it cannot be helped that Bea will be asked about the current controversy she’s involved in with DJ Papa Dan and Atty. Ferdie Topacio. Bea says she and Papa Dan have settled things between them but she’s disappointed with Atty. Topacio who even called for his own presson.
Bea’s Mommy Carina says they were so affected by the controversy as it casts a bad reflection on Bea, who’s a minor at 14. She says Atty. Topacio helped them put up Bea’s foundation to help the needy. “Mabait siya sa amin kaya hindi ko alam kung bakit nagkaroon ng ganitong gulo na lumaki masyado,” she says. “Ang hangad na lang namin, maayos na kasi wala namang problema sa anak ko. Isang magandang offshoot nito, nagkaroon uli ng communication si Bea sa father niya na handa siyang suportahan. Hindi naniniwala ang papa niya sa mga tsismis kasi kilala niya si Bea. Napakabait ng anak ko.”
