“Actually, we’ve already started taping it ni Kylie Padilla, so we really felt sad,” he says. “But we have to respect management’s decision. They’re worried for our safety kasi may threats against us. Sayang kasi the show aims for Muslims to be better understood. We have Muslim authorities as our consultants so I don’t they think they’d be put in a bad light. But may drama series daw na ipapalit, so sana nga, matuloy yun dahil Kylie and I are really ready to work together.”
He’s happy that “Tiktik” got a PG rating from the MTRCB and kids can watch it with their parents. He plays an offbeat role as Makoy, a rugged bad boy. “First time ko to play this role: maangas, brusko, marumi, takaw-gulo. Dahil sa enkwentro ko with a group of people kaya nanganib ang buhay namin nina Lovi Poe and her parents. I didn’t know aswang pala yung mga nakalaban ko so they attack us.”
How’s it working with Lovi? “Great. Maganda bonding namin, along with Janice de Belen and Joey Marquez kasi kaming laging magkakaeksena. Lovi has won so many best actress awards and she deserves it.”
