Edgar Allan Guzman Chooses To Forget Sexbomb Girlfriend To Focus Totally On His Career

EDGAR ALLAN GUZMAN is still ecstatic over the glowing reviews he got for his performance as the user friendly actor in “Bona”.

“The best compliment came from the original actor who played it on film, Sir Phillip Salvador,” he says. “When he watched it, I asked him if I gave justice to the role and he said, ‘Sobra-sobrang justice ang naibigay mo, magaling.’ The whole experience was unforgettable for me. PETA is offering me to do another play, but I’m now busy shooting a new movie, ‘Mga Kuwento ni Lola Basyang’, a Metro-Manila filmfest entry where I play the title role in the ‘Pedro Walang Takot’ episode.”

Edgar is also happy to be part of the first eco-serye, “Enchanted Garden”. “It’s pro-environment and I play Molave, a warrior from Eden who’s tasked to look for Alex Gonzaga to kill her, but then I fall in love with her.”

We were there when Edgar and the cast of “Enchanted Garden” participated in the tree-planting activity at the Roosevelt Forest Park in Dinalupihan, Bataan, where they also built a beautiful set for the show. “We all have to do our part in protecting our environment,” he says.

No doubt his career is doing well now. Does he and his manager, Noel Ferrer, still fight over his lovelife with SexBomb dancer Johlan Veluz.

“Sa ganda ng takbo ng career ko ngayon, wala na munang lovelife. Trabaho, trabaho, trabaho na lang muna ang focus ko.”
