Marian Rivera Doesn'T Mind If Glaiza De Castro Slaps Her For Real In 'Temptation Of Wife'

MARIAN RIVERA and Lovi Poe star in the new soaps of GMA-7 that start today, “Temptation of Wife” (a Koreanovela adaptation) and “Yesterday’s Bride” (an original concept.) In the “Temptation of Wife” trailer, it’s obvious the slapping scenes of Marian with Glaiza de Castro are for real. “Yes, totoo lahat yon, walang fake,” she says. “Bilang artista, ready kami na kung minsan, nagkakasakitan. Hindi maiiwasan, e. Basta ang mahalaga, nagkakaintindihan kayo sa eksena. Nagkasama na kami ni Glaiza sa ‘Amaya’ kaya tinginan lang, we understand each other.”

Glaiza is not the only villain to her in the show. She also has to contend with Michelle Madrigal as a girl in love with Rafael Rosell (who, in turn, is in love with her) and Cherie Gil as Dennis Trillo’s aristrocratic mom who’s against her.

“Pareho silang mataray on screen but off cam, they’re sweet and nice kaya hindi ka mai-intimidate. Enjoy nga ako sa mga kasama ko rito, including Rio Locsin as my mom.”

The story starts with her as a simple girl, Angeline, who’s deceived by her husband (Dennis) and best friend (Glaiza). She’ll come back later totally transformed as the ravishing Chantal. “Acting piece ito for me kasi complete transformation is required from the losyang to the glamorous. Ngayon pa lang, excited na kong gawin ang scenes ko as Chantal.”
