Matteo Guidicelli Admits He Became So Engrossed With Sports That He Neglected Maja Salvador

MATTEO GUIDICELLI displays his chiselled torso in so many scenes in Precious Hearts Presents “Paraiso” that starts airing on November 5. He admits this is his sexiest appearance so far. “Kailangan kasi sa story dahil Jessy Mendiola and I are marooned in an island at nasira ang damit ko,” he says. “I really worked out a lot to prepare for my shirtless scenes.”

He says he’s still loveless after Maja Salvador broke up with him. Why did they split?

“I must admit I’m at fault as I got so busy and hardly had time for her,” he says. “I was training for the triathlon and also taping ‘Paraiso’. That’s why she said I prefer running than her. I guess we have different priorities also. At this point in my life, I have other things that I felt were more important to do, like joining the triathlon and acting for ‘Paraiso’. Talagang I’m not ready to be in a serious relationship now due to time constraints.”

Jessy says it’s obvious that Matteo still has feelings for Maja as he mentions her quite often while they’re taping “Paraiso” that starts airing on November 5. But in their sexy scenes on the beach in the show, you’d think Matteo is truly madly in love with Jessy. “We had a sensuality workshop ni Jessy para mawala ang ilangan sa amin. It aimed to bring out our passionate side without inhibitions. That helped a lot for Jessy and me to be more comfortable with each other. Talagang naging maganda naman ang teamwork and working relationship namin dahil doon.”
