PIOLO PASCUAL gathered the biggest Kapamilya stars last year in the SunPiology Run and Star Magic Gives Back Benefit Concert and earned P500,000 plus that they donated to various charities including ABS-CBN’s Sagip Kapamilya. This year, Piolo stages the twin events once more on November 24 at Venice Piazza, McKinley Hill. The run features 1 kilometer (for kids), 3 k, 6 k and 12 k distances. Runners automatically get a pass for the Star Magic Concert upon registration.

Stars performing in the show are Daniel Padilla, Paolo Avelino, Sam Concepcion, Pokwang, Sam Milby, John Lapus, Alex Castro, Matteo Guidicelli, Jed Madela, Nyoy Volante, Maja Salvador, Bugoy Drilon, Yeng Constantino, Robi Domingo, Megan Young, Enchong Dee, Alex Castro, Young JV, Jason Abalos, Rayver Cruz and many more. Piolo says he is spearheading this to help spread holiday cheer and goodwill during the coming Christmas season. “It’s our way of sharing and giving back to the people,” he adds. “Also a timely way of celebrating Star Magic’s 20th anniversary.”

What are his current projects? “I’m taping ‘Apoy sa Dagat’, my new soap with Angelica Panganiban. I’m also in the Star Magic 20th anniversary movie, ‘24/7 in Love’. We’ll be having concerts in L.A., Reno and San Diego, then I’m releasing my ‘Dekada 3’ album of all Tagalog songs from Star Records.”

Will he invite ex-GF KC Concepcion to join the SunPiology run? “No problem. Wala ng issue yun. Matagal na yun, e.” What about KC’s mom Sharon Cuneta’s sentiments about him? “Sorry, but hindi ako nagbabasa para hindi ako masaktan. You must spare yourself from being sad, being mad. And whatever people say about me, I just shrug my shoulders and move on with my life.”
