RACHEL ANN GO is producing her own 8th anniversary concert on Friday, October 26, “RAG- Rise Against Gravity” at Music Museum. “Akong personal na nag-aasikaso sa lahat ng kailangan dito and I realized mahirap pala maging producer dahil walang tigil ang binabayaran mo,” she laughs. “Hindi gaya noong you’re just the artist, you worry doon lang sa performance mo. Rehearse ka ng rehearse. But I’m not complaining. It’s a learning experience for me. At may mga taon namang tumutulong para maging maayos ang lahat. Some of the people sa production are just doing this for the love of lang and I’m very thankful for that. Sa eight years ko sa showbiz, I also made some good friends at ngayon, lahat sila, willing suportahan ako in my first venture as a concert producer, lalo na sina Sarah Geronimo, Christian Bautista at si Ms. Regine Velasquez Alcasid na very supportive talaga. They’re guesting for free kasi mahal daw nila ako. It’s really an honor to have Ms. Regine kasi she’s my idol and she was the host nang manalo as sa ‘Search for a Star’ so I can say part talaga siya ng career ko.”
Aside from Christian, will she invite other ex-BFs like John Prats and Gab Valenciano? “Christian has remained a good friend kaya I didn’t hesitate to invite him as guest sa concert ko. Yes nga siya agad. As for the others, bumili na lang sila ng ticket,” she laughs.
