“It’s really surprising as we didn’t get to see each other for a long time, but our rapport was intact in ‘Pinoy Adventures’,” he says. “We’re really comfortable with one another and, that time, naghahanap sila ng puede kong maging co-host in ‘Extra Challenge’ so they said, why not Marian? So ayan, kami na nga ang magkasama ngayon in ‘Extra Challenge’ that starts airing on October 27. Marian is the perfect co-host as she’s also very fit, fearless. Even in the most daring challenges, she’s ready to fight. With our contestants, she’s got the perfect balance in being strict and accommodating to them in the challenges they’re required to do.”
Although they show great chemistry as hosts of the new “Extra Challenge”, everyone knows they can’t be linked to each other off cam since both of them are now hitched to someone else: Marian with Dingdong Dantes and Chard with Sarah Lahbati.
Richard is known for being secretive when it comes to his lovelife, especially with his so-called Girlfriend sa Dilim, Jewel Mische, who really just stayed on the sidelights. But he’s now very open when it comes to Sarah. He admits their relationship started when they did “Makapiling Kang Muli” together. In the Instagram fotos taken with Sarah which he posted on the net during their recent two-week trip to Europe, he calls Sarah “Mon amour” (French for “my love”) and “Halma” (Mahal.)
Sarah just turned 19 on October 9 while Richard turned 28 on January 21. Sarah is his youngest girlfriend so far, compared to the likes of Anne Curtis and Georgina Wilson. We’re glad that Chard is not neglecting his being an actor. He’s about to do two new films: one with Marian and one with Sarah and Solenn Heussaff.
