RUFFA GUTIERREZ is looking forward to working with Nora Aunor in “Enchanted Garden”. She’s the current queen of the fantasy world Eden, but Ate Guy is the original queen being convinced by Alex Gonzaga as Aya to claim back her throne. Ate Guy starts taping for the show this week. How does Ruffa feel about it?
“I’m looking forward to it,” she says. “Excited nga ako as I’ve never worked with her. Karangalan sa’king makasama siya kasi institution na siya sa showbiz. I’m sure I’ll learn something from her considering her long experience in the industry.”
What can she say about her mom Annabelle Rama’s candidacy as representative in Cebu. “At first, I was against it as I know I’ll miss her pag doon na siya nag-stay sa Cebu. Also, kung maintriga ang showbiz, di lalo na ang politics. But then, she doesn’t listen naman to us ng mga kapatid ko and she’s so decided about running so I’ll just support her all the way. She has good intentions and she’s now studying governance to prepare for it.”
What’s the real score between her brother Richard and Sarah Lahbati? “I know they’re dating. I like Sarah. Mabait. Marespeto. At ang ganda kahit walang makeup. Also, tall like me. I told her to join a beauty pageant but ayaw niya.”
She’s glad to be part of GMA Films’ Metro filmfest entry, “Sosy Problems”. “I play the role of a TV executive and will shoot only for a few days. But I look forward to working with its younger stars, Heart Evangelista, Bianca King, Solenn Heussaff and Rhian Ramos.”
Isn’t she at odds with Heart who dropped her mom as manager after she got it at GMA? “Okay na kami. Pati si Mommy. Malambot naman ang puso ni Mommy, e.”
