WE’RE GLAD THAT Sharon Cuneta’s afternoon talk show, "Sharon, Kasama Mo", is finally picking up in the ratings game. The truth is it’s really worth watching, with its good guests and Sharon’s fine style of hosting that always conveys positive values. We guess it really just took some time before viewers warmed up to it. “I can’t complain naman sa TV5 as they take real good care of me. Sinusuportahan talaga nila ang show. I’m proud of my staff, they really work hard. Even the station’s signal, mas nag-improve na kaya it now reaches more people. I’m glad kasi maganda talaga ang feedback sa show, which is about regular, ordinary people with more interesting human stories to tell than celebrities and artistas. The show is also a learning experience for me kasi kung minsan, yung problema nila, mind boggling para sa akin. Naku, may ganito palang mga nangyayari. Lots of viewers tell me they watch the show sa internet kasi nasa office pa sila when we are shown kaya di nila naaabutan.”
Won’t TV5 move it to another time slot? “There’s a plan. I’m praying about it, but it’s all up to them.”
Sharon is now more decided to lose weight as Viva Films wants her to start shooting a new movie and she doesn’t want to face the movie camera looking so fat. She’s also happy that her daughter KC Concepcion seems to have fully recovered from her traumatic romance with Piolo Pascual, what with Frenchman Pierre Emmanuel Plassart being an ardent suitor. Sharon says she has met the guy and he seems very well bred.
“He’s handsome, very respectful,” she adds. “Of all the guys my mother introduced to us, he’s my favorite. His mother is so sweet and obviously raised him well. That’s all that I can say at quiet na lang ako dahil baka magalit na ang anak ko.”
