Thea Tolentino Optimistic She'll Be The Female Winner In 'Protege' Come October 21 Finals

THEA TOLENTINO is one of the two remaining contestants in “Protégé” who’s from Calamba, Laguna. The other one is Jeric Gonzales. “Pero hindi po kami magkakilala at all,” she says. “Dito lang kami sa GMA nagkita.”

Born on Aug. 13, 1996, she’s the eldest of 3 kids and the only girl. She’s a high school senior at St. Benilde International School and intends to take up multi-media arts in college. What’s her edge over Elle Ramirez and Zandra Summer? “My singing. I think I’m really good at it. I'm an optimist and I want to think I'll be the one to win.”

And who’s her biggest rival? “Si Elle. She excels sa workshops and she’s more experienced kasi marami na siyang nasalihang searches. Ako, first time ko to join and I’m so shy. But my exposure here helped me gain more confidence.”
