    Here'S Hoping Nora Aunor New International Award Will Make 'Thy Womb' A Box Office Hit

    CONGRATULATIONS to Director Dante Mendoza and Nora Ate Guy Aunor for winning the best director and best actress award at the 6th ASIA-PACIFIC Awards (APSA) for "Thy Womb". This is an affirmation of the awards they won in Venice Filmfest for the same film.

    We now pray that these international honors will work to their advantage and be translated to strong ticket sales at the box office in the coming Metro-Manila Filmfest. We hope it would make viewers from all ages to be interested to watch it and make it a blockbuster. As we all know, Direk Dante Mendoza has won many awards here and abroad but has yet to come up with a real box office winner. We’ll also be very happy for Ate Guy if she would come up with a new hit movie once again, just like during her heydays in the 70s and 80s.
