“More than physically, I prepared for it by opening up my mind to be able to fully embrace my role as Megan,” she says. “Kasi kahit magpa-sexy ka ng katawan and your mind is not into it, you won’t be effective. This is really the most challenging character I’ve done to date. I was so nervous in the love scene with Matteo but he’s very much a gentleman and handled it well. Happy naman ako with ABS kahit bawat project na ibigay nila sa’kin, I learn something, I grow. Dito, may twist sa character ko but hindi naman kontrabida ang dating niya, but just someone who, like other people, makes mistakes.”
It’s common knowledge she and Richard Gutierrez became an item. How does she feel now that Richard has a new girl, Sarah Lahbati? “Matagal na yung sa’min. I just wish them the best.”
At ABS, she went steady with Jason Abalos but it also didn’t last. What happened? “It just didn’t flourish. Jason and I agreed na hindi namin pag-uusapan ang nangyari sa’min, out of respect for each other, so hanggang doon na lang. I’m single now and I’m enjoying being single a lot. I love having time with myself.”
