Lovi Poe Finds Vhong Navarro'S Sense Of Humor Very Appealing

LOVI POE initially didn’t accept the “Unwanted” episode of “Shake, Rattle & Roll 14”. “Sunod-sunod na kasi yung horror films na nagawa ko from ‘Aswang’, ‘Guniguni’ and ‘Tiktik’, tapos busy pa ko with another movie, ‘The Bride & The Lover’, and my soap, ‘Yesterday’s Bride’, kaya ayoko sanang tanggapin,” she says. “But then, may utang na loob ako kay Mother Lily. She’s the one who gave me my very first movie, ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll 9’ where I did the ‘Christmas Tree’ episode na nangangain ng tao. Also, first time ko to work with Direk Chito Rono and with Vhong Navarro and my friends urged me, tanggapin mo na, Vhong Navarro yun.”

So how’s her experience working with them? “It’s really really good. Si Direk Chito, simple lang ang hinihingi niya but when you watch on screen, iba ang dating. Impressive. Si Vhong naman is a smart funnyman. It was fun kasi mahilig akong tumawa.”

She says she’s single now. Is there a possibility for her to fall for someone like Vhong? “Of course. His sense of humor is very appealing.”

Vhong says at this point. “Sorry, but I’m in a relationship right now. It’s complicated.”

Their episode is about a group of survivors who are trapped in a mall that collapsed after a loud explosion. The mall they demolished for the shoot is the Coastal Mall on Roxas Blvd. that has fallen into disuse. Among those trapped with them are Carlo Aquino, Eula Caballero, Chocolate and Albie Casino.
