Mark Gil Affected By Andi Eigenmann'S Problems Over Jake Ejercito

MARK GIL says his heart is bleeding for his daughter Andi Eigenmann because of Jake Ejercito’s revelations against her. “I don’t really know the details of what happened pero kung maaari lang, ako na dumanas kung anuman ang pinagdaraanan niya ngayon,” he says. “I saw her on TV crying at siempre, bilang ama, I’m affected. I called her and told her in case she needs me, nandito lang ako for her. Tawagan niya lang ako anuman kailangan niya sa’kin. Tama yung decision niya to avoid boys muna and just focus on her career and her daughter, Ellie. As for Jake, I respect his side but I just wish that he’d make private matters stay private.”

What compensates is his eldest son Gabby Eigenmann being nominated as best supporting actor in the Asian TV Awards for “Munting Heredera”, for which he earlier won the same honor in the Golden Screen Awards. “I told him the nomination is really a big honor kasi international na siya. Wala akong ganoon, e.”

He’s glad to be part of the powerhouse cast of the new soap, “Pahiram ng Sandali”. “Impressive ang co-stars ko: Christopher de Leon na kasama ko noon sa Brocka movie that gave me an Urian best supporting actor award, ‘Palipat-Lipat, Papalit-Palit’, and Lorna Tolentino who was with me in the movie that gave her a grand slam as best actress, ‘Narito ang Puso Ko’, 20 years ago in 1992. It’s really nice to be working with them with Maryo de los Reyes directing us. I play the husband of Isabel Rivas and we have two sons, Neil Ryan Sese and Kristofer Martin, but she doesn’t know that anak ko rin si Dingdong Dantes kay Sandy Andolong. The twists in the story of this soap are really very intriguing.”
